The City of Wood Village 2022 Opportunity Scholarship is established to help fund and assist students who reside in Wood Village and have a goal to continue their education after high school or GED program. The scholarship amount is a minimum of $1,250, plus a stipend to help cover required materials or supplies. The amounts depend on the number of applicants and funds available.

Application Guidelines
- Wood Village Resident
- Completion of High School or GED Program
- Will start an accredited college, university, or trade school in Fall 2022
- Demonstrates financial need
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
- Completed application
- Personal Interview: If you are selected as a finalist, there may be a personal interview with the scholarship committee. This interview will be an opportunity for you to share additional information related to your background, goals and plans for your future
Applications are due by June 30, 2022.
The application will open in Spring 2024.
