Councilor Amend Resigns

In a bit of sad news, Lynnea Amend, a City Councilor since 2022 has decided to step down to better focus on her health and family. Prior to being on the City Council, Lynnea spent some time on the City’s Parks Commission as well. Lynnea brought an authentic voice to the Council and was able to connect with a wide variety of community members. This was often done on her daily walks through the park or around the community. Her laugh was contagious, and while she’ll be missed, her spirit and love for the community will remain. Thank you, Lynnea, for your years of selfless service for the betterment of our community and of others.
