The Cities of Fairview and Wood Village recently received notice of a community warning posted to the website Next Door. The trusted fact checking SNOPES website has investigated this warning and determined that it originated in South Africa. The community notice does not apply to our area but we still want everyone to use caution going into the 2020 Census. The Census Bureau will never ask to see your ID and you will never need to provide credit card or social security information.
