Learn mediation skills to resolve conflict
The 49-hour training includes skill development in communication, listening and conflict resolution. Experienced instructors offer theory and techniques in an interactive learning environment.
Attendees will learn how to mediate a conflict between people to help them reach a resolution and gain valuable skills that can be applied in all facets of life.

When: (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Friday and Mondays) April 24 & 25, 2024 | 9:00 am - 3:30 pm ; April 26, 2024 | 9:00 am - 1:00 pm ; April 30 & May 1, 2024 | 5 pm - 8 pm ; May 3 & 6, 2024 | 9 am - 3:30 pm ; May 7 & 8, 2024 | 5 pm - 8 pm ; May 10 & 13, 2024 | 9 am - 3:30 pm
Cost options:
- $695 - General Public
- $400 - Community leaders in East Multnomah County pay a reduced fee
- $75 - Up to four individuals who are willing to volunteer at East County Resolutions for two hours each week for one year will pay a reduced fee to cover materials. Full scholarships are available for those with hardships.
- $295 - For those who have already taken the 3-day Conflict Management Training with ECR
The first three days (April 24-26) can be taken separately as a Conflict Management Training. You must take the entire training to be trained as a mediator.
