Contact Person Phone Number EmailThe City of Wood Village is seeking proposals for the replacement of two signs on NE 238th Drive. Work includes demolition of existing signs, construction of new sign frames, and procurement and installation of one electronic message center sign panel. Proposed signs are 14 ft wide and 10 ft tall with wood framing and stone-clad concrete-masonry pedestals.
Project Deliverables:
- Preconstruction meeting and project schedule.
- Permitting for demolition. The City shall be responsible for Right of Way and Building permits.
- Traffic control per specifications.
- Demolition and disposal of existing structure.
- Construction of two sign frames as specified in the project plans.
- Installation and wiring of one electronic display as specified in the project plans.
- Installation of one graphic panel sign provided by the City.
- Final inspection and walk-through.
Project Schedule:
Bid Opening: April 2, 2024
Award of Contract: April 9, 2024
Notice to Proceed: April 10, 2024
Completion: June 30, 2024
Special Requirements
This project is subject to compliance with Prevailing Wage Rate Laws and Federal Labor Standards. As required by these laws, the Contractor shall provide certified payroll documents, and the City will perform interviews on selected employees.
