Park Restroom Construction RFP

The City is seeking proposals for the construction of a restroom facility in Donald L. Robertson Park. The planned facility is a 600 SF concrete-masonry unit structure with eight single-user (2 ADA and 6 standard) units and utility closet. Work shall include:

• Demolition and disposal of existing concrete prefabricated structure.
• Site work and preparations including utility connections and modifications to the existing pad upon which the restroom will be installed.
• Installation of temporary fencing around construction site
• Construction of the new facility including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC per design. Contractor shall provide and install all specified restroom furnishings.
• Repair/Replacement of existing sidewalk.
• Final inspection and walk-through

The City has issued an addendum related to the installation of epoxy floor covering. Please review before submitting your proposal. Also, the design engineers have approved a substitution request for additional lighting options.

Project Schedule: 

Bid Opening: October 30, 2024                                                                                  

Award of Contract: November 12, 2024  

Notice to Proceed: November 13, 2024                  

Completion: May 30, 2025

 

Special Requirements

Proposers shall be aware that this project is subject to compliance with Prevailing Wage Rate Laws and Federal Labor Standards. Proposals are to be mailed or delivered to the City of Wood Village Public Works Department, 24200 NE Halsey St., Wood Village, OR 97060-1095. Proposals shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope including bidder’s name, address, and business license number. Proposers shall include with their proposal a Bid Bond to the amount of 5% of the Bid price. Proposers must show that they are licensed and bonded in Oregon.
