The City of Wood Village is seeking proposals for the design-build construction of a new restroom facility at Donald L. Robertson Park. Work includes design plans, permitting, demolition/removal of existing building, and new restroom construction. The design shall be a durable, maintenance-friendly structure with 8 single-user units and a mechanical/storage room. Recommended exterior design elements include: Natural wood, basalt rock or similar materials and look, cinder block with decorative covering, and earth tone colors and a variety of textures. The interior will employ stainless steel furnishings and other graffiti-resistant materials. The structure shall fit on the existing 6 inches sand base, which is 20 feet by 26 feet in area.

The City is open to considering prefabricated or on-site build options, and prospective bidders are encouraged to include separate estimates for each in their proposals.

Proposers shall be aware that this project is subject to compliance with Prevailing Wage Rate Laws and Federal Labor Standards. Proposals are to be mailed or delivered to the City of Wood Village Public Works Department, 24200 Northeast Halsey Street, Wood Village, OR 97060-1095. Proposals shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope including bidder’s name, address, and business license number. Proposers shall include with their proposal a Bid Bond to the amount of 5% of the Bid price. Proposers must show that they are licensed and bonded in Oregon.
