- Outreach
Beginning October of 2022, the City of Wood Village began issuing yellow Parking Notices on vehicles found in violation of City Code. These notices are a new first step to resolve common parking violations quickly and without enforcement from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Department.
If you receive one of these Parking Notices, please resolve the violation by the date included on the notice or contact our City Code Specialist at (503) 489-6861 or Building@WoodVillageOR.gov. Vehicles found in violation after this initial notice period may be removed by the Sheriff’s Department (WVMC 10.24.230).
Retrieval of the removed vehicle from the Sheriff’s Department will be at the cost of the owner (WVMC 10.24.270).

The City will issue an informal notice in an attempt to quickly resolve issues. Secondary and final notices will be delivered to the property owner via mail and posted on the physical property.
- If you receive a violation notice from the City, contact the number listed on the notice so we can discuss the nature of the violation and the options for correction.
- Notices will include a period of time for abatement not to exceed 30 days.
- In cases where the final notice period has expired, the City reserves the right to pursue abatement action where costs involved may be the responsibility of the property owner (WVMC 8.16.290).
- For full terms on Nuisance Enforcement and Abatement, view the Wood Village Municipal Code Chapter 8.16.
