Leaf Drop Program

Free Leaf Drop October 1st through December 31st

In response to a year-round ban on backyard burning that was implemented in 2024, the City's annual Leaf Drop program has been expanded to open early on October 1st and will last through December 31st. The program will still take place in the front Donald L. Robertson Park parking lot, adjacent to the Playground.

This program is for Wood Village community members only. Commercial use of the program is not permitted.

Elderly and Disabled Assistance

The City now also operates a yard debris pile pickup program for elderly or disabled community members who had relied on backyard burning to dispose of their yard debris. This is not a yard cleanup program, but an opportunity to have a yard debris pile that would have been burned picked up at no charge. Please call City Hall at (503) 667-6211 or email City@WoodVillageOR.gov for more information.
