Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan

We shared Multnomah County Emergency Management's Community Needs Survey in December. Every 5 years, Multnomah County is required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to update its Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP). The NHMP helps provide an action plan to protect life, property, and the environment in future natural disasters. It was last completed in 2017, and the next will be in November 2022. In order for the plan to reflect the needs of our diverse population, the department is asking for your help and input. For more information, visit the following pages:
