About the Holiday Meal Drive
In 2021, after the success of the first Turkey Drive in 2020, the City of Wood Village hosted its first winter holiday meal drive to address food insecurity in our community during the pandemic. Seeing the need to continue post-pandemic, the event has become an annual program to provide a free holiday meal to families in Wood Village and, when possible, the greater East County region.

Holiday Meal Drive Guidelines
Wood Village community members receive first priority.
- Registration begins Sunday, December 1st and closes on Friday, December 13th, or once registration is full. (Limited to one meal per address).
- The City of Wood Village will contact you to confirm your registration after the application period has closed.
- The City will call, text, or email you at least one week before the pick up date as a reminder.
- If you live outside of Wood Village and apply, you will be placed on a waitlist until after the application period closes. Available spots will be filled based on the order the applications were received in.
