Fireworks are allowed in Wood Village, and the use must follow all local and state laws. In Wood Village, excessive noise from fireworks must end at 10 p.m. Oregon law prohibits the possession, sale or use of any firework that explodes, flies into the air or travels more than 12 feet horizontally on the ground. Due to the high number of public safety calls on and around the 4th of July, 911 may be busy, and the police may not be able to respond to all firework related calls.
