The Federal Communication Commission just announced the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB) that would provide monthly subsidies to help cover internet service costs. The program offers a monthly discount of up to $50/month on broadband service (high-speed internet access) from an approved provider and a one-time $100 discount on a computer or tablet purchase.
