The City of Wood Village is seeking proposals from qualified contractors licensed in the State of Oregon until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4th, for the installation of furnishings and construction of an accessible pathway at Donald L. Robertson Park.

The bid award shall be based on an itemized estimate. All bids must include a $30,000 allowance for the procurement of site furnishings

Project Deliverables:

  • Demolition of existing surface and furnishings and tree removal as specified in project plans.
  • Construction of approximately 820 SF of ADA-compliant concrete walkway and curb cut ramp per design plans.
  • Construction of an additional 1180 SF of concrete surfacing as shown in concept plan
  • Procurement and installation of park furniture including
    • 2 ADA end-accessible 8-ft aluminum picnic tables
    • 3 standard 8-ft aluminum picnic tables
    • 1 standard 12-ft or 2 6-ft aluminum picnic tables
    • 2 ADA-accessible park grills
    • 3 park grills
    • 5 hot coal disposal receptacles
    • 3 6-ft decorative park benches

Work hours will be limited to between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday work will require prior request by the contractor and approval by City Manager. Documentation and inspection shall be performed by City staff.

Completion:                                      May 31, 2025

Special Requirements

Proposers shall be aware that this project is subject to compliance with Prevailing Wage Rate Laws and Federal Labor Standards. Proposals are to be mailed or delivered to the City of Wood Village Public Works Department, 24200 NE Halsey St., Wood Village, OR 97060-1095. Proposals shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope including bidder’s name, address, and business license number. Proposers shall include with their proposal a Bid Bond to the amount of 5% of the Bid price. Proposers must show that they are licensed and bonded in Oregon.
